PROPOSED EXECUTIVE PRODUCER PARTNERSHIPS
Three partners. One shared vision.
A proposed financing structure for up to three Executive Producer partners, each contributing US$433,333.33 and undertaking agreed producing responsibilities. All terms remain subject to eligibility review, final budgets, and signed agreements.
3maximum EP partners
US$433,333.33proposed capital per partner
50%combined net-profit participation pool
Organizer-reported signed and closed partnerships: 0 / 3. Updated by the production team; this is not a live reservation system.
01 · CAPITAL FIRST
100% to the investor pool.
First, 100% of contractually defined distributable receipts goes to the three EP investors, one-third each, until each has recovered their actual US$433,333.33 capital contribution. Aggregate capital is US$1,299,999.99. Payments depend on available receipts; repayment is not guaranteed.
02 · THEN THE PREMIUM
A proposed 20% priority premium.
After capital recoupment, 100% of distributable receipts continues to the EP investor pool until a premium of 20% of actual contributed capital has been paid. This is approximately US$86,666.67 per EP and US$260,000 in aggregate, subject to penny reconciliation in the agreements. The premium is contingent, not guaranteed interest.
03 · LONG-TERM PARTICIPATION
50% shared by the three EPs.
After capital and the premium have been paid, the three EPs share a combined 50% of defined net profits equally: one-third of that pool each, equivalent to one-sixth (16⅔%) of total defined net profits per EP. The other 50% is allocated to the production/creative participants under their agreements. This describes profit participation, not an automatic ownership or equity grant.
Proposed production commencement fee
Each EP may receive a budgeted US$43,333.33 producer services fee at production commencement, only as earned and authorized under a signed services agreement and the escrow release terms. The combined fees are US$129,999.99, leaving US$1,170,000 of the proposed capital for other production costs. The proposal treats fees separately from capital recoupment; they do not reduce the capital balance or the premium base. These are disclosed production expenses for actual services, not guaranteed investment returns. This is a proposed fee for the initially financed production only; it is not an automatic fee for every future season or episode. The amount and services must be justified in the approved budget.
What money enters the waterfall?
The waterfall applies to receipts available for distribution under the financing and collection agreements, not every dollar of ticket sales or gross revenue. The agreements must define permitted distributor/platform fees, taxes, collection costs, expenses, reserves, senior obligations, reporting, and audit rights. The three equal shares must be reconciled to the cent. Website support and other financing must be reconciled before closing to avoid double funding or conflicting repayment rights.
Bank wire and production escrow
Proposed funding method: bank wire to the production escrow specified in executed agreements. The escrow agent, account, funding conditions, release milestones, and refund terms must be established before funds are requested. Email Chris to request the documents. Verify the beneficiary and wiring instructions independently with the appointed escrow agent using a trusted contact number before sending money. No banking details or investment payments are collected through Shopify.
Which production and future rights are included?
The financed production scope must be identified in the final agreements: development, pilot, specified episodes, or a specified season. No automatic ownership or participation in future seasons, sequels, spinoffs, remakes, merchandising, or the underlying intellectual property is granted by this page. Any continuing participation, renewal, dilution, buyout, or derivative-rights terms must be expressly negotiated. The 50% pool applies only to the rights and receipts defined in those agreements.
What qualifies someone for a television EP credit?
A television Executive Producer role requires agreed substantive producing responsibilities appropriate to the series. Capital contribution alone does not establish that role. Creative authority, packaging, management, reporting relationships, service periods, credit placement, and any continuing credit must be documented separately. A financing participant who does not perform qualifying producing functions should receive a separately negotiated financing acknowledgment rather than an automatic EP title.
How are later revenues distributed?
Production escrow governs investment deposits and release for production. A separate collection account management agreement can appoint an independent administrator to receive exploitation revenues and apply the agreed recoupment schedule. Before closing, the parties must agree on permitted deductions, reserves, senior claims, reporting frequency, audit rights, payment timing, affiliate transactions, and the handling of library sales or distribution changes. No escrow agent or collection account is represented as already appointed.
Investment capital is at risk, including possible total loss. Production, distribution, credits, fees, recoupment, premiums, and profits are not guaranteed. The proposal is not an executed offer or agreement. Availability and participation depend on applicable securities laws and individual eligibility; access to this page or sending an email does not establish eligibility.
